Briggs & Stratton back you with more than 100 years of power expertise, from front yards to farm fields, all over the globe.
We build durable power equipment with the performance you can trust, worldwide support you can depend on – and innovation inspired by you. At the flip of a switch, Quiet Power Technology will automatically adjust engine speed to reduce noise, save fuel and run longer. At just 58 decibels at 25% load, it's quieter than a typical conversation. Easily move the P3000 to your tailgate, campsite, or around your property with a convenient luggage-style telescoping handle and durable 6" solid wheels.
The Briggs and Stratton P3000 inverter generator shows an LCD screen for easy reading using electricity, total unit hours, and maintenance reminders including oil, air filter, and spark plug changes. A dedicated parallel connector port lets you connect two (2) Powersmart series inverter generators together to draw more power without leaving a household outlet. It has a pull start but it pulls very easily. Never had to pull more than twice. The electric starter is one more thing to go wrong with a generator.

OK... Anyone who gives this 3000W beauty less than 5 stars have never owned other generators (I have), or they didn't do their research before purchasing it (I did). 1) This Briggs and Stratton P3000 Inverter Generator absolutely does run an RV air conditioner at 13,500 BTU (not 15,000). Before you spend this kind of money, you really should know what kind of watts your AC unit draws. My RV has 2 AC units (13,500 & 15,000).
This generator will run the smaller unit and other outlets at the same time. It will not run both units or the 15,000 alone due to wattage. I will consider buying another B&S to daisy-chain together and they will run the entire fifth wheel! 2) The handles on the top make it very easy to lift ~85 pounds, but the telescoping handle is the coolest feature ever for me and my wife. 3) The locking RV 30 amp adapter is a really nice addition to the provided accessories.
I have to use a 50 amp to 30amp adapter to plug them into the generator. Keep your connections out of the rain and sprinklers. 4) The little "stat station" tells you the percentage draw on the unit, total hours, and more = cool factor. 5) I put oil and gas in it and started on the second pull brand new. Confession - I limp-wristed the first pull... 6) Gas gauge! If you have never had a gas gauge on your generator, this is a very nice option.
There are many reviews and videos online to watch before you make a purchase. For the money, this Briggs and Stratton P3000 Inverter Generator 3000W is 5 stars. Not enough power this morning to run 15,000 BTU AC. Tripped generator breaker on startup. Pushed and held reset and started AC again. Worked like a charm! You cannot run ANYTHING else if you choose to run a 15,000 BTU AC. I'd rather sit in the dark than be hot! At 80+ lbs, it's pretty heavy, but I can just about lift it one-handed and can get it into the back of my car two-handed.
The 2.6 kW running output should be just about enough to run a single room 12,000 BTU air conditioning unit plus our fridge-freezer and wine cooler in a post-hurricane situation, which is primarily why I got it. It's also portable enough to take camping or to the race track for my racing, which is the secondary purpose. Briggs and Stratton 30545 P3000 portable inverter generator has all the power and necessary pluses that you want in a portable generator.
Easy pull start, easy to read display, telescoping handle, and wheels for easy maneuverability. All the power that you will need to keep things running smoothly in the event of power outages or camping or tailgating. These things are a lifesaver for this extended and still-in-progress power outage. I am in an airconditioned cooled room right now with working internet thanks to it.
I loaned it to the neighbor so they could keep their newborn puppies warm. Out of the box, I am very impressed. This comes with a new bottle of oil, and a battery charger/smoke plug connected also. Very simple instructions to get it started up after adding oil and gas and very quiet for a generator/inverter. Haven’t used it yet for my RV but I'm looking forward to it. Looks like a great one!
